Anyone catch their husband cheating twice

With the same woman?
Asking for a friend.

I'm sorry for your friend. That's got to hurt and is a huge betrayal

Sure... a friend?

Yes, mom my kept catching my dad... she finally kicked him out for good. He's not stopping the affair.

If he cheated twice with the same woman, it's probably because he really likes something about that particular person, aside from the sex.

Your "friend" didn't catch her husband cheating twice with the same woman. She discovered her husband has a full blown relationship with another woman.

This.

Any person who stays with a cheating spouse when they find out there are still doing the behavior they had validated.

False reconciliation. He never ended the affair in the first place. He just got better at covering it up.

Happened to my sister. They were even in couple's therapy and the therapist kept urging her to trust her husband Gwen he said the affair was over, in spite of what her gut was telling her. She got him again and kicked him out.

They are divorced now.

She suspects he's a sex addict. He has cheated before...
She thought they had moved past all of that and she found out about this woman several months ago. They have a small child she doesn't want a divorce. He has asked for one after she caught him with the woman the first time.

Same woman doesn't mean "sex addict"...it means affair...and perhaps love.

Sex addicts spread it around and don't get attached.

Ok well she needs to divorce then. She's married to a man who a) doesn't value her, the family or the marriage and b) has made it clear he wants a divorce. So what's her options?

I was curious if anyone had been in the same situation and moved past this.

Not if she is in such denial that she thinks he is a sex addict and not just a plain old cheater.

Her husband doesn't care if she moves past it. He's asked for divorce and shown he is going to continue the relationship either way. Moving past it only works if the partners gives a shit that you move past it.
