If your husband goes out all the time and doesn't wear his ring...

Would you suspect he's cheating? Why or why not?

Does he usually wear his ring? If so, and he "forgets" when he goes out without you, then yes, I think you have a problem.

That's exactly how I busted my ex husband cheating on me. I saw him going out without his ring, checked his phone records, and knew he was with someone else.

He use to, but for the last few months he's been "forgetting" to wear it and thinks I'm making a big deal out of nothing.

I haven't worn my ring in years. I don't cheat.

My ex "lost" his ring. I didn't worry about it as I figured that he could cheat with or without it. Turns out that he was cheating...joke's on me.

My wife often doesn't wear her ring when she goes out with her friends saying they will have a few drinks and she doesn't want to be a target for crime.... I was worried about her safety but this thread has my wondering.

My ex used to give me a hard time about not wearing my ring. I just have a weird thing about being afraid my hands will swell and it won't come off. And then she cheated on me.

My DH doesn't wear a ring at all except when we're going to really fancy parties. I sometimes where mine, sometimes not. Neither of us cheat.

I feel dumb right now- do other women thing it is dangerous to wear their engagement ring when they go out with friends, in terms of dc crime?

It would never occur to me to not wear my ring due to crime. If I were that worried about it, I'd get a cheaper ring for going out, one that I wouldn't mind getting stolen. But I think someone's much more likely to try to get away with a handbag than an engagement ring.

I'm sorry, pp, but I think you're being naive.

I would never worry about this. PP's wife is either paranoid or lying.

I don't wear my rings on the weekend (wedding band, engagement ring and anniversary band, they stack). They just get in the way of chores.

OP, please be more specific.

Rings can actually be dangerous depending on what you are doing.
