Yeah, that's not how it works in practice. Women who marry rich omen don't sit around being taken care of, or they end of divorced. Everyone has to out work into their marriage, you may not be working for a paycheck or scrubbing toilets, but there will still be expectations of you as a spouse.

You should have thought about this before you said yes and then had children. I am curious do you love your current husband? Would you trade being married to someone you actually love for someone you don't, just because they were rich and you could stay home, or would the requirement be that they were rich and you also loved one another?

My husband doesn't make much money and sometimes I wish he did. I make more money than he does and take on the bulk of the responsibilities in raising our son, and it can be really stressful, overwhelming and hard sometimes. But I knew who he was when we got married, and didn't marry him on the condition that he would change and suddenly become a big earner. He is the most loving, kind and supportive man I have ever met, and that's why I married him.
