Did anyone actually attend the lottery today? Does anyone know the stats on Pre-K? How many slots and how many appls.? Thanks.

I did not attend the lottery, but when I went to a tour I asked and was told that there were about 20 siblings, so that would leave 20 pre-K slots for the general lottery.

We just found out the our son got a pre-K slot at EL Haynes! I would love to hear from some folks re: the school, culture, program, parent involvement, atmosphere, etc. We are choosing between Haynes, Eaton and Hyde....

Did you call to find out or did they contact you?

I have called three times to find out the results for my son. All three times I have been transferred and the phone rings off the hook and nobody answers. Not too helpful.

I heard there were 14 non-sibling spots and a couple of hundred applicants. Keep callng. i am sure they are swamped with calls

They called me today to let me know that my son got in . They had 180 applicants for 15 spots in pre-k. If anyone else gets in I would love to chat!

Only 180? huh. you'd think it was 500 from the talk of it

It was 180 for the pre-k. Not sure about the total numbers for all the grades.

BUMP. Any current EL Haynes parents out there that can provide some input on their experience with the school?

Bump --

Can anyone give any information on logistics -- like aftercare costs and availability?
