I did not believe this until I saw it myself. That is all. Thanks for listening. |
I'm sorry for your loss. |
I hear you. I've seen it. Heartbreaking. |
I so struggle with this, especially as my dad, age 80, languishes with dementia in a nursing home with zero quality of life. |
It happened in my family. |
I'm sorry OP. I lost a dear friend last summer. Give yourself time to grieve. Be good to yourself. |
It's true and I agree. I often think about how life would be better if my older brother were alive. He'd be 61 and we lost him at 24. I think about him and miss him daily. |
I agree. My brother died at 24, but my mean grandmother lasted until 97. I'm sorry for your loss OP. |
Me too PP. I'm the PP above. Mine would only be 38, and for some reason it makes me really desperadoes to think that when my brother would be 60 I'll still miss him just as much. It hasn't waned so far though, so I don't know why it would be any different. |
It does seem that way. Good, well loved people who have so much to live for die way too young. And then people like Charles Manson live on. Why? I'm sorry for your loss. |
I'm the other PP ![]() |
I hope you stay just the way you are, for the longest time.
|
I'm sorry for your loss OP.
But. I don't think only bad people grow old... |
Yes, life is filled with random cruelties. But let's be honest, when someone dies young, it hurts hurts hurts. There's so much they didn't get to do and be. I'm sorry OP. |
OP, take comfort in these words: You're having a hard time and lately you don't feel so good I've lived long enough to have learned The closer you get to the fire the more you get burned Once I thought my innocence was gone Now I know that happiness goes on It's all about faith and a deeper devotion And so it goes, and so it goes - The Most Reverend William Joel, D. Div. |
