I think the reality is that the fashion just isn’t as fun this term. Because Ivanka is in exile, and the White House looks so tacky and insane that it distracts from the fashion. There’s no hope hicks and everyone is cranky all the time.

Plus the men are so obsequious this time and more feminine, imo. Rubio, hegseth. That throws off the women’s fashion.

Nailed it. The men are complete bootlickers with no genitalia to speak of so it's just not as fun to look at the women's fashion. I miss Melania.

People say that it's okay, bc funerals are not exactly something you plan for. Sometimes you find out you have a funeral in a couple of days and there's no time to get a black suit. In that case, blue is fine.

This is not that case. He is the sitting VP of the United States. And independently wealthy. I am almost certain he has a black or charcoal suit in his closet.

And are you equally certain that both Biden and Obama had a black or charcoal suit in their closets? Were you outraged about their "lapses," pictured above? You sound horribly out of date. A navy blue suit is absolutely appropriate for a memorial service or funeral.
