The Trump Women and their Fashion Mishaps - Part Three

She literally is allergic to dressing appropriately. For any other event this would actually be one of her better looks. But it's not because she went to go mourn dead children.

I wouldn't even wear that to the funeral of an adult let alone a memorial for children who died violently because of my fat husband's political party.

Agree with above. A simple, black dress without adornment is the most appropriate thing for her to have worn. Shiny? No. Leather or pleather? No.

Agree. It can't be the only dark item she had in the closet.

And while I'm on the subject of the crypt keeper wearing a stripper dress to a memorial service, is JD in blue?! Wtf.

Who is advising these two on etiquette and protocol?

In what world is pleather appropriate for a funeral or memorial service?

This woman grew up UMC and went to Yale. Absurd that this dress was even an option in her head to wear to this event let alone the one she chose.

Not to mention THIS is the day she chose to wear Melania-style stripper shoes.

A navy blue suit is perfectly appropriate to wear to this occasion, and her dress is hardly "stripper"-like. Are you 80?

The heels aren't that high at all actually, they just look like it because the heel part (what ever they are called) is narrow. The shoes are just a bit higher than kitten heels.

If you consider an inch just a bit

Looks like more than that. What I would consider kitten heels is one inch, maybe 1.5, hers are definitely 3 inches.

No, it's not, but you knew that.

Yup, this is what's so unfortunate. TBH, there was a time in my life when I probably made a lot of weird choices like she does. I tried to shop my closet for what was most appropriate (e.g. black dress for funeral), but there was something glaringly inappropraite about it that I didn't understand or didn't have anything better to choose. For me, this was when I didn't have a lot of money, but I can also see it being the default for a working mom who doesn't have a lot of time.

But she is SLOTUS now, and making appearances is part of the deal. I truly don't understand why they haven't found some stylist to help this poor woman

They both look fine to me, and boring, and I don’t care.
