I think they will start to lower as the broader numbers fall. I think 1Q in CY 2024 we will begin to see quarter rate cuts but they will want time for each cut to stabiilze, so it will be slow.

There was a 0% monthly increase. Good news, but I still don’t see the Fed lowering interest rates for a while, best case is next summer but that is even unlikely.

Still double the Trump CPI, but lets not mention that misinformation, Comrade.

Businesses won’t stop price gouging though. That’s part of the broad spectrum strategy to get the GOP back in office; make people feel the pain in order to get them nostalgic for Trumpenvolk times.

You must have loved Obama then, a historic streak of low inflation! But I don’t recall all of the Republicans cheering how great it was….

2012 - 1.7
2013 - 1.5
2014 - .8
2015 - .7
2016 - 2.1

While the idiots on the left are hyping lower inflation, this chart shows otherwise. Rent and food continue to rise

So the food producers and retailers report record profits while the wholesale prices fall and this is whose fault exactly?

Could the record profits people please post evidence in terms of higher earnings per share for the companies they say are price gouging?

What’s not good about the PPI report?
