I love the look of a nice orchid behind my couch on the table but they don't live forever. Is a fake one too tacky? Are there fakes that are worth the price? |
You can find very well done fakes. |
I am sure there are nice ones though I find fake tacky. |
Gross |
The real ones in the supermarkets are inexpensive and hold up well. I've got one going since Mothers' Day and it still looks magnificent. |
Def get real...there are tricks to watering them which you can google, I've kept some for many months (I'm sure they can live longer than that but I don't have a green thumb). Yes, fake is tacky. |
Fake is tacky, not being able to keep one alive for a few months is tackier. |
I hate fake plants. It's healthy to care for something that can't care for itself. I remember that each time I internally groan at the idea of having to water the plants. |
Enabler. |
Oh Jeez ignore the pp's.
Fake is just fine. I think it would look nice especially during winter. Just make sure it's the only fake one in the house. If it makes you smile go for it! |
Lol! |
If you don't want to get a real one how about a nice framed oil of an orchid? Or a nice pot with something easy to care for? |
IKEA has good real ones too. |
Trader Joe's. Very cheap And last a while. |
Best post of the night! |
