Big Brother is back on tonight!

This show is so terrible, but such a guilty pleasure. Most of the time I can't get anyone else to admit to watching it, but clearly people do because it's been on forever.

The new season starts tonight and i'm looking forward to having something silly to watch during the week now.

Can we agree that this is a real-time show, and that there will be spoilers in this thread? I think most people understand that, but there's always one person who complains "no spoilers!"" BB isn't like a regular show or even regular reality show, and I think you have to expect information to leak out via live feeds, etc. It's all part of the BB "experience."

That said, I like the house this season! Usually it looks pretty cheap, but I think it actually looks pretty neat and decorated well, from what I've seen in Julie's house tour.

OP here....this show runs three times per week, so there's no way that spoilers won't happen here. We're going to be talking about the show here.

I'm a fan and I don't hide it.
The problem we run into is that people watch big brother after dark or read the forum and post spoilers in that way.

For example: if you watch big brother after dark and you know joe and Bob get nominated for eviction that week. It won't be aired on the show until Wednesday, but you still reveal it here Tuesday. It's a little shitty to do that.

That being said, I've given up the fight and know that I can't read these posts unless I want to know spoilers because people are jerks and like spoiling things.

I don't watch the feeds or 'After Dark,' but I do read other sites and like discussing things unfolding in the house. That's just how BB is. If you just want to watch the television program, then by all means watch it. But the nature of Big Brother is very "real time" and you have to expect things on social media to spread. Spoilers are inevitable in this kind of show. It's not because people "like spoiling things" but because they like discussing things as they happen. You don't, and that's fine. So just watch the show.

Hope is is not as boring as last year and I can do without the controversial fireworks from the year before that. After Dark will be on the same channel but has a new name - PoP (TVGN).

And yeah, there really was only one predominant "stop spoilers!" poster, and the writing style/attitude is the same as PP. Thankfully they'll bow out of discussion early and we won't have to worry about their incessant whining.
