Steve's final statement is what did it for him, Liz was in an alliance that saved her over and over again. Steve laid low early, which usually works to the halfway point of the game.

Vanessa had no respect for being kicked out. She knew Steve did the right thing.

Liz is a moron, as she clearly did not prepare to be questioned by the jury and sounded like an idiot. Steve did a great job and demonstrated that he better deserved it (and I was never rooting for him).

+1 the more she spoke the more she totally gave the money away.

for all his awkwardness, steve is way more capable of defending arguments, intelligently and coherently.

Yes. She "defended" the question about whether she just got carried by Austin by saying that she was a strong player because she built an alliance with Austin that took her far. So, yes, she was carried by Austin. Idiot.

i'm really glad steve won. although objectively vanessa did play a better game probably, his endearing anxiety and genuine joy at winning was nice to see.
