Birthday gift for 6 year old girl who has everything

Anonymous
Hi! I'm a nanny to an awesome little girl who is turning 6 next month! I want to get her a great birthday gift, but am a bit stumped, as she already has tons of toys/books/art supplies/you name it. Any ideas or suggestions? She's into Frozen, American Girl, arts & crafts, reading, Hello Kitty, etc. My budget is $20-$30. Thanks!

Another nanny here. If she's like one of my past charges, physical gifts aren't likely to impress, because she knows she can get whatever she wants. I would suggest an outing, with one or two friends, maybe a tea party picnic at the park, either Frozen theme or with AG dolls?

OP here. Thanks all for the ideas!

She does already have lots of dress up stuff but that's a great thought.

As for the games, I know she has the Olaf in Trouble and Frozen Uno, but maybe not the Monopoly, I'd have to check!

The crafts are good, and sometimes my go to - because I know they are something that will be used. I got her lots of crafts for Christmas so was trying to come up with something else.

Thanks to the nanny poster, that's a good idea as well - her birthday party is going to be a tea party with AG dolls so that is spot on!

My 6 y/o loves this game: http://www.bellalunatoys.com/eeboo-fairytale-spinner-game/reviews

She is also into AG dolls, and the "Tooth Fairy" got her a pair of glasses for her AG doll that she loved so much.

PP here. If you can order in time, you can get an Elsa dress for an AG doll on Etsy: https://www.etsy.com/listing/180503818/princess-elsa-dress-american-girl-doll

Magazine subscription is great. There are lots of great ones and it's nice to get mail every month.

Puzzles, card games (regular deck or Uno,e tc), Goldiblox, board games etc.

Maybe tickets to a show? Like something at Imagination Stage or Glen Echo?

They have American Girl crafts on Amazon that would fit into your budget. My DD is obsessed with AG and crafts and loves them. They all say 8+ but some are more simple than others.

You are the nanny. An employee. Why are you competing to give this rich kid a special material object? Stick with something only you can do and leave the materialism to those with the funds.
