The underwater drones with 600 km range, anti ship missiles, drones, super cavitation drones(220 mph underwater), etc will destroy ships and tankers.

Trump needs to surrender and go back to executing US citizens in the street. Trump has no options.

Trump said two days ago that the entire Iranian Navy was gone. Did he lie?

Everything he’s told is a lie from professional liars.

Every time Trump speaks he is lying! The same goes for Hegseth.

You make no sense. Iran will be declawed. Their military equipment will be destroyed. Perhaps we’ll get to the nuclear material. How many more of their leaders will be killed? Meanwhile our lives will go on as if nothing is wrong. I’ll go to sporting events and out to dinners without a thought about Iran.

And yet, most of America won't be going to sporting events and out to dinners because they can't afford gas and Trump's economy. I'm not sure why you think this is a happy ending for the US.

Things aren’t that bad. I know Democrats want it to be, but it’s not. I spent $400+ at dinner with my wife at a nice restaurant last night. The place was packed. If a tank of gas going up $10 unspools your world you need to learn how to budget better.

This is the best you are going to get.
It seems that the best way to ensure the new Ayatollah is not killed is to appoint one that is already dead.

Was Iran doing anything to impact your weekend before?

An angry Iran is a lot more dangerous than Iran going about there on business was. You're an idiot if you think we can so cleanly "declaw" Iran. Terrorism is cheap.

Hey, at least he is talking. Same with Hegseth.
Our last CiC was nearly in a vegetative state and our last Sec. of Defense couldn't be found during times of crisis.

We’re the great Satan. They’ve wanted to kill us for decades. If they could do it, they would have. If Democrats are so worried about Iran’s panties in a twist they should vote to fund DHS.

Every Iranian Rial spent on rebuilding infrastructure and the military is one that doesn’t go to their terrorist proxies.

This could be the usual macho war talk, but I believe it because the regime in power does not care about human lives. They can survive in the face of huge numbers of civilian and military casualties because of their tight control over their people. That is not the case in other countries, especially the US.
Seriously not sure if you're referring to us or them. Do you think our regime cares about human lives? You know the honest answer.

I don't see how we get out of this quagmire. Iran can't back down because they know Trump never honors any agreements anyways. Trump can't back down because he can't afford to look weak. The Gulf States can't support our side because we're allied with Israel. Israel could just stop, but they won't.

If this continues, eventually Russia will openly ally with Iran and the Gulf States will kick us out and start a standoff with Israel. Then the nukes will fall.

Maybe Israel will finally back down soon, then we can declare victory and withdraw ourselves. Everything goes back to the way it was.

Why can’t Trump back down? He can declare mission accomplished and withdraw troops and carriers. Fox News will laud him as a hero. His MAGA base won’t know the difference & will just be happy they can fill up their pickups for less than $100.
That depends on the Iranian response. They said they want to be compensated for the losses they took. Either cash payback, seizing US property on their own, or destroying US property. I'm all for testing it out, let's declare mission accomplished and see what they do.

My guess is that they'd continue to bomb our bases over there and try to build an alliance to attack Israel.

+1 There’s on old saying that once you start a war, the enemy gets a vote. He can’t just TACO this.

At some point we should offer to send them trump and all his family, maybe throw in Miller. See how far that goes toward making amends.

I would be VERY interested to read about the heightened security for alll the Trumps - that we are paying for, of course.

You mad you’re too inconsequential for protective services?

You should worry more about the undocumented using your local ER as primary care and not paying their bills.

It not privilege, it’s the result of hard work by a first generation college student.

The restaurant had over 100 people enjoying similar meals.

Lower income people could stop buying cigarettes and weed if they need more disposable income.

Incorrect. Decades of hard work, budgeting, saving and investing. Luck is the residue of skill.

No but fighting Israel's wars for the past 20 plus years certainly has affected everyone's day to day business. Imagine if we had actually reinvested that 20 trillion of our own taxpayer money into our own country rather than fighting on behalf of Israel
