Yes there are two MC 2026 teams and both rosters are quite full.

That is great! They seem to be strong at the 26 year.

TCL I don’t think was in NGLL last year.

SW and FCA were bottom A and I do think they could hang with them.

Integrity would win by more than a few goals.

NL has to keep their top players and develop, we will see what they do in fall.

We won't see in the Fall, at least at the 27 and 28 level. Both teams could (and the 27s probably will) go undefeated but we wont know how good they truly are.

The only competitive game for the 27s will likely be Heros White (who lost alot). 28s will likely play LBC which would be a test for them.

It’s a balance. BLC 28s are playing in the Chesapeake Invitational against M&D, Heros Green and Pride Red and will lose badly. Not sure how that will be useful for their program after what happened last year and this summer.

NL 28s play in the Terp Fall Classic which will include Hoco Black and HLC. I think it would be good if they played Pride Red but aside from that there’s no point in scheduling an obvious butt whooping.

Talk about a blood bath, BLC needs to re-evaluate what's going on as they got demolished at Chesapeake Invitational.

I get it that BLC 28 is really struggling, having lost some players to Heros obviously hurts. But the comparison to BLC and NL is really apples and oranges. The level of competition they see at tournaments could not be more different.

I didn't think anyone was really comparing NL to BLC or vice versa etc. It was more about the state of all 3 MC programs and how they are all struggling.

Understood but I really think it is important to note that the tournaments you play in and the competition you see matters. Going undefeated in a low bracket or a noname tournament is fun for the kids and for most is awesome but for the people who don't know any better thinking that means something....not so much

The PP mentioned Heros Green, M and D and pride Red, but forgot to include CC lax as well. BLC went 0-4. Heros green and M and D are understandable, but last year they would have been competitive with Pride Red and CC lax. They definitely lost their best players. And any other good players should find a new home. The middle school market is too watered down at this point and can't support that many top programs.

Even BLC’s vaunted 2027 team got smoked in the Chesapeake Invitational. Not good.

I’m not sure how you are defining “struggling”? 2027 BLC still excellent but not as good as past years. NL 28-30 are very good but not at the elite level. 2026 and above I think MCE is the only competitive team around.

What evidence do you have to say that NLs 28-30 teams are very good? What are you comparing it to? Their tournaments last summer? Have the even played in a tournament this fall? You can't say they are "good" if they haven't played anyone recently.

According to Tourney Machine, all 3 won their divisions at Fall Premier Showcase which was a tournament that BLC also played in at those years and did poorly. So that’s the evidence.

I think you are overstating winning their division. It was a whopping 2 games for each team at the entire tournament. So they won 2 games all fall season. One of the teams was a 28/29 trsm. And they weren't in the same division division as BLC, so you can't even compare their results.

1 torunament where each team played 2 games, and their 28 team wasnt even in the highest bracket of a b-level tournament?????? They played coppermine blue 28/29 and southern exposure???? Not really hard hitting evidence

28s are 6th graders. 30s are 4th graders. Get some perspective people!
