Kane from Kaneshow divorcing and crying on air right now

Anonymous
Anybody take into consideration over the fact that maybe he had taped this confession prior to the live show? I didn't hear any of it so I'm not sure exactly what went down, but I wouldn't call him Bipolar over the fact that he might have seemed fine. This would definitely make sense as to why the SAG dues were never paid when he thought that they had been. He certainly wouldn't have lied about that.

Maybe you need to research bipolar. manic stages and depressive stages. It's not being upset about something legitimately upsetting, taking a couple minutes to compose yourself and taking care of your shit. That's called be an adult. Especially at your place of work.

It seems to me that he was a workaholic and didn't give N the time and love that she felt she deserved. And maybe she did have a spending problem, but K seemed to love her unconditionally but with his illness and job he just couldn't show her in the right ways that she wanted.

That would be the most rapidly cycling bipolar disorder ever.

He probably has to work his ass off given the expensive house they live in, and the family's spending habits.

Hilarious!!!!!!

Being an adult...especially at work...means *not* spilling private details of your messy divorce on the radio and then bursting into tears.

While I generally would agree with you, we're not local "celebrities" in the public eye... There's been various comments made on this thread about how people were asking, posting on his facebook, looking up his freaking court records. So I would say he could have done this differently, perhaps "better", but he's held to a different standard in disclosing his personal issues than you and your neighbors. My point being, was that this was not an example of a bipolar episode and we need to stop throwing out accusations of mental illness when people engage differently than we would have.

Has anyone stopped to think that this stupid long thread is making Kane money?

I work at iHeart and know Kane on the business side; found this thread after seeing his post from this morning. A couple notes:

We can edit, and will edit, on-demand shows all of the time. While I didn't hear the audio, I'd bet it was live and something that was talked about beforehand, planned. While I doubt he or anyone planned to get that personal, that's what happens when you're truly comfortable on-air. And knowing many personalities, I can tell you that many of them feel more comfortable on-air than they do off. What happened was likely just real radio - his frustration, hurt, sadness, etc. 100% true or not, it was him venting. He would have likely asked to pull the audio because he was embarrassed after the fact, didn't want his daughters or family to hear it, or lawyers asked to pull it. Easy edit job.

Second, while I wont go into details, his salary is way higher than 100-200k. He has one of the biggest morning shows in the country and also a syndicated weekend show. His agent is making closer to 100k off his contracts than he is!

Sad situation. Sorry for a co-worker and his family. Really have nothing but extremely pleasant experiences when dealing with P.

While I think it was wrong (and just plain poor judgement) for Kane to discuss the personal details on his show, I have always found Natasha terribly unlikeable. If you have ever read her blog, you can immediately tell that she is a super self-involved narcissist. She comes across as whiny and self-entitled. She married Kane after knowing him for years and then proceeded to have TWO children with him. That was her decision. Unless he was violent (and I don't believe that one for a second), addicted to alcohol or drugs, or cheated on her repeatedly, she should have stuck with the marriage for the sake of their young daughters. If she picked badly, too bad for her. It was her choice. She wanted what she wanted when she wanted it (marriage to a semi-famous person, money, etc...) and now she's evidently changed her mind. I don't care about her personal happiness or her new haircut. She should just focus on raising her daughters. She created this life for them and she should have been committed to it. If what Kane said about her on his show is true, then she really wanted to screw him. Taking the money, not caring about the bills...all signs she was furious with him and didn't give a shit of how if affected him. Certainly NOT taking the "high road" and not something a woman does to the father of her children. Natasha is only relevant because she is (was) married to Kane. Without him, she's not the least interesting. I mean, seriously, would anyone have ever read that crappy blog or followed her on IG if it weren't for who she was married to? Of course not!

Actually, being a radio host (and a good one) means opening yourself up & being more personal than your typical job. Yes, if you're a bank teller, you're not expected to be crying and it would be unacceptable. However, he is on air for how many hours each week talking? It's his job to be personable, to open those doors into his personal life. The funny quirks, the kids, wife, disease and now.

That's not bipolar, genius. He pulled himself back together because he has a job to do (and is a radio vet).

In the state of MD you can file for divorce anytime regardless of time of seperatiom, but if the other party refuses to sign you must wait a year to proceed. So as long as she signs, they have no problems, but clearly this will be a messy situation. Regardless of the circumstances, divorce is the single most heart wrenching thing I've done to this point in my life. I feel bad for those that go through it, specifically those that are taken advantage of.

Since when? A friend of mine is a lawyer in MD and said a divorce can't be FINAL till a year passes w/kids, but as someone said at one point (and I think the post was removed), this is what is called a limited divorce, which changes things.

Yeah, that's not true.

He filed for a limited divorce.
