I thought that question was directed at me. Oy. |
Votes are magical. |
This battle is between the white supremacists and the Tea Party types like Coulter on one side, vs. the more moderate and mainstream GOP on the other side. Liberals are fine with rallying behind the more moderate and mainstream GOP to oppose racism, but the problem is still one that's primarily inside the GOP. |
Conservative here - she's not. Neither is Bill, despite their actions in Arkansas, and despite the fact he played golf at an all-white club. That's what makes this hilarious, when y'all call republicans racist for supporting the very piece of history that Bill and Hillary did. Either they, as well as the republicans you accuse, are racist, or neither are. I will give you the KKK. THEY are racist. And are historically democratic. And Lord knows Johnson was!! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r1rIDmDWSms Now? I think they are more likely to put up their own candidate that we can all ignore. |
The Tea Party does not endorse the White Supremacists. |
We've already been through the whole "KKK/Democrat" thing. The KKK "Democrats" were Dixiecrats who split off from the mainstream Democrats, and who are basically the Tea Party of today. Their ideology has virtually nothing to do with Democrats of today. |
LMAO! White supremacists are a big part of and support the Tea Party. You are either really out of touch or in some serious delusional denial. |
White Supremacists endorse the Tea Party. |
The new conservative mantra:
I have the freedom to say what I want. And if you criticize me for saying it, then you're restricting my freedom. |
PP here. Johnson? If you are going to make statements like that then go learn the history of the man's life, not just a part, and read how he started the changes in the 50's and what he did to effect the CRA. There is no excuse to not know the facts given the resource you have at your fingertips and are using to access this forum. BTW...I never have and never will belong to a party...they have to earn my vote. |
They want us to tolerate their intolerance. |
We are doing it again, until you get it right. The FACT is, the KKK overwhelmingly supported democrats back in the day, and for good reason. The Tea Party is not even remotely associated with the KKK - that is simply the progressive wet dream. |
Progressives hate the fact that libertarians dominate the tea party. Libertarians also support marriage equality, marijuana legalization, civil rights, etc. |
Again, you are suffering from mental dysfunction. The Dixiecrats that dominated southern politics and who were involved in the KKK SPLIT OFF from the Democrats and had far more ideology in common with the Tea Party of today than they do with liberals of today. The "Democrat" label is meaningless no matter how desperate you are to try and make the case. As for the Tea Party "not even remotely associated" - again you are either delusional or in deep denial of the facts. The typical Tea Party rally would quite frequently have confederate flags and racist epithets featured in its midst. |
Hate to break it to all of you, but those pictures of "Clinton" buttons with confederate flags making the rounds are not official campaign buttons and were never endorsed or authorized by the campaign - and this can be proved by the fact that none of them have the union "bug" on them. The Clinton campaigns had all of their official campaign buttons made in union shops, and if the button doesn't have the union logo on it, it's not an official, endorsed or authorized button.
