Trump isn’t a real conservative. I think we might be seeing some severe party shifts similar to the southern strategy. We indeed are living in upside down land.

A few conservatives are certainly starting to question things.

The gun rights people might start to catch on. The Admin shouldn’t have lied about this one.

Right? The victim is exactly the hero they all believe themselves to be in their minds. An educated white guy, who spends his days caring for veterans, legally carrying is murdered by our government protecting an innocent white woman, and the government blatantly and obviously lies about it? It will break their brains.

Notice how the MAGA trolls/bots have completely disappeared since the latest series of videos came out. They can't reconcile the crystal clear video, the inconvenient fact set, etc. with the lies they wanted to push.

Because I doubt he thought it would escalate to that point. He saw an ICE agent repeatedly shoving a woman to the ground and tried to intervene and help her up. The agent then pepper sprayed him at point blank range, he was tackled to the ground and beaten, disarmed, then shot multiple times. It unfolds very quickly, and was entirely unnecessary. They were bullying a woman, and they killed him for stepping in.

Was the woman resisting them and fighting back, to? Was she an illegal? Please tell the entire story.

There is no justification for repeatedly shoving her to the ground. She was not being violent. She was observing. She may have said something the agent didnt like and he shoves her to the ground like a schoolyard bully. You can watch the videos for yourself.

Of course it matters if she was illegal; she would have been eligible for arrest. That is my question.

I agree that the ICE agents appear to be resorting to hammers when thumbs may be sufficient, at least as a first resort. BUT - there is no excuse for anyone, US citizens or not, to be disrupting them or challenging them in their work. She "may have said something the agent didn't like." I can only imagine what that was.

Who in their right mind would challenge law enforcement officers in that way? If what you're saying is true, she is the person who got this guy killed.

So you don't believe in the right to protest? Just come out and say it and we can argue on that point rather than trying to blame the victims here.

So if the govt randomly changed the law so that your existence here is illegal or just pin something on you because they don't like you or people like you, you would want all of us to just stand by and let it happen right? Make sure you understand what you are really asking for here.

They can't justify the shooting itself given all the video, so they are trying to find another way to blame the protestors

Investigators with the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension are talking with witnesses and gathering evidence, including various video footage, from the fatal shooting of a Minneapolis man by federal agents today despite having no contact with the federal government, said Drew Evans, the bureau’s superintendent.

The Department of Homeland Security is leading the investigation and has not responded to the BCA’s attempts to get in contact with them, Evans said at a news conference.

“I attempted to contact the individual that I was told was the overall commander at the scene, and I have not received a call back from them,” said Evans.

Are you American? You don't sound like you are.

Do you support the Constitution? When you pledge allegiance to the flag, do you also pledge to uphold the Constitution and our rights, especially those in the Bill of Rights?

Because that is what is at stake here. We do not have to justify why we are protesting. We have a right to protest. We have a right to criticize and to yell. We have a right to be safe and secure in our homes. We have a right to challenge law enforcement officers, as long as we do it peacefully. We have a right to say not friendly, even unkind words.

Why do you hate the Constitution? Why won't you stand up with the rest of us who love our Constitution and love our country and protest ICE?

Please provide concrete evidence that local police are not cooperating with ice. And then please define what cooperation means. The state head of prisons held a press conference several days ago pushing back on ICE claims that they are not cooperating.

To clarify, I meant ICE should provide cooperation to the local PD in situations like this.

I'm positive they picked up the lady in the red/pink coat who was filing, and hoped they'd be able to suppress her video (and possibly get rid of her ability to testify by disappearing her or treating her roughly and later saying she was resisting arrest).

It was likely only due to the fact that she had already been able to upload her video that she was even released.
