The AOR launch is big news. Did she already mention that?

It's so big we can't even get the acronym right on a clunky name.

American Orchard sounds so much better.

Orchard would have been fine on it's own. American implies it needs to have a bunch of patriotic flags and all red, white and blue. Not very California to be very patriotic.

You’re forgetting how much right-wingers hate fresh fruit. They’re reclaiming “American”, like the gays did with “queer”.

Are the Sussexes right wing champions eschewing fresh fruit for jellies? Wtf are you trying to say?

I don’t understand what the supposed hatred of fresh fruit MAGAs have intersects with MM’s lifestyle brand and goods.

Perhaps pp is trying to say MM only wants liberals to buy her wares? I highly doubt that. Green money is green money.

Guaranteed the people likely to buy this stuff are liberals.

It’s the Erewhon crowd.

She'll be "broke" soon, so she's at least got that part right.

Which is it? She will be broke soon or have more than enough money? Both things have been claimed in this thread. You all need to get on the same page about their financial health.

Are you slow? Their burn rate is through the roof. If she wasn't such a thirsty climber desperate for validation and adulation then maybe she could live like a normal person on the money they have, but we all know that ain't the case.

Why is this so hard for you to grasp?

But if they have more than enough their burn rate is irrelevant.

More than enough if they humbled themselves and lived within their means. But they can't do that because they have delusions of grandeur. So it is very relevant and the reason why they are coming out with all of these desperate cash grabs.

They could live in a LCOL area in a very nice home and do good locally and globally without being in the public eye. They could do that but don't, so that's their choice.

If they move to LA, it needs to be in the Hollywood Hills/Beverly Hills/Holmby Hills/Brentwood/Bel Air area. Those are extremely expensive for the size home they would require.

They are a family of four. They could do a lot cheaper, like 5 million, and live very well.

Of course but where would the staff stay?

They are smart to trademark that name. I’m shocked it was available!

There’s so many organic fancy jellies, preserves and butters already. It’s like the hand-sliced soap. Who buys this stuff?

Elevated Etsy

Maybe that's the goal.

I think it’s the combo of riviera and orchard. They’re like opposite things to me. It’s like orange grove mountains or something.

The concept of “riviera” (“coastline” in Italian) defines a lakeside or seaside region composed of multiple resorts and small towns, all sharing a developed tourist industry. They are reserved for socioeconomic elites who can afford the regions' high costs of living.

Now, where is an orchard in this scenario?

Wait until you see what $5M gets you in that area. It's like a basic suburban home. Meghan and Harry would never.

People might get it mixed up with the famous Harry & David Royal Riviera Pear orchards in the Rogue Valley of southern Oregon.

+1. New builds are going for $8M or more. The 14M they paid for Casa Montecito was a steal.

I follow quite a few soap makers on Insta. Their stuff sells out as soon as it’s stocked, even at $10 per bar. I guess there is a market for everything.

Interesting. I see them stocked at the higher end supermarkets but never see anyone buy them.

Are the soap makers making their own soap? Or slapping their logo on some mass produced soap from somewhere else?

Their own. It’s quite simple to make good soap, which is why I’m always surprised people are willing to pay so much for it.
