| Anyone else think she named it “American” to make the statement that she and Harry are AMERICAN and not British?? Like, suck it, Brits! |
Why would you think they actually care? They don't actually hold Americans in high esteem. Hence the cultural clash from the get go. |
Well, they ARE in America, North America to be precise. |
no its like motto for Santa Barbara County. |
Why? The Queen sold gin. Charles had cookies and a guest house in Romania. The Queen and Prince Phillip gave out Royal Warrants. The QM may have done this too. If Peter’s milk commercials, Zara’s CBD ventures, and her husband’s podcasts and reality show participation, and the Buckingham Palace Gift Shop didn’t set off any rolling, this business venture probably won’t either. |
Did they slap labels on cheap Chinese goods also? |
And yet she clings to those titles… |
The difference is the Queen and Charles did that stuff for charity. Megan is hawking stuff to line her own pockets |
It’s what sets her apart from ordinary college-educated Americans. |
Zara’s CBD pics were too funny! |
They will go to their graves believing Meghan is going to turn out an elegant set of products made not by kids in Asia, regardless of what the manufacturing stickers say. Whenever stuff comes up for sale. |
It would be one thing if it was honey or jam produced from the orchard on your own property but that’s not what these celebrities are doing. |
| she should've just gone with "American Riviera." The Orchard bit is too much and clunky. |
I don’t know. “Riviera” just conjures up images of a beach full of topless women sunbathing. 🤣 |
This. Some people just look for reasons to criticize her. A launch is usually very coordinated and relies on many factors. If they had postponed it, it would have just fueled speculation that something is dramatically wrong with Kate and Charles. Megan can’t win with some people so she should just do what is best for her family, her company, and all the people it employs. Terrible name though. |
