How does VDA have the most impressive coaching staff? |
Tell me you know nothing about college commitment history without telling me. McLean has a huge legacy of outstanding soccer scholarships to top tier schools. The other ECNL team does not. It's too new and too "beginner status". They don't win much. |
Those little kids will be just fine. |
Are you referring to Loudoun or Brave? |
Don't win much??? NVA 07s > Union 07s NVA 08s >>> Union 08s NVA 09s >>>>> Union 09s Union 07s have some of the wealthiest families in all of DMV. If you think some of those players are getting scholarships instead of just a roster spot because mommy and daddy are making a "donations", you need to do some research. NVA's 07s are it's first strong group of of commits and just the beginning. NVA 08s and 09s will have better commits in both years coming. Those are two very weak year for Union. Sorry if truth hurts but you shouldn't act like such a pr1ck. |

You two done? Agree that these girls likely going to NVA, VDA, and Brave in that order, if they are below Brave's level they just stay put |
ML has the Midas touch just go to McLean and you are destined for greatness |
I don’t see FCV GA players going to Brave over staying at FCV or following CC/MJ/JS/ED to VRSC if they get GA. I’m not saying those are good options, but they are better than Brave. What about BSC? Their 2010/11/12 teams are decent. |
Setting aside the Loudoun / McLean squabble, it is unquestionably the case that they will go to McLean before Brave. |
Bethesda is a long drive for anyone who plays for FCV. Why drive all that way with so many other options. I would probably rank like so for club wise but as mentioned before, not all of these players are top ECNL quality. 1. VDA 2. NVA 3. Union 4. Arlington (Another long drive) 5. Bethesda (Would be higher if not for long drive) 6. VRSC 7. Brave (Really a toss up with VRSC) 8. SYC GA 9. New FCV GA |
| ***if VRSC does get GA this year. If not, they should not even be in the list |
If VRSC doesn't get GA, they don't even belong on the list |
| I thought one of the requirements for GA was girls teams with a history of winning, tournament play, etc? |
And should VRSC get accepted, people will then realize that GA doesn't truly have standards for elite level of play. If VRSC gets accepted, that's another nail in the coffin for FCV. You'd have two competing GA clubs with one located near their flagship and one where their GA program is already located with old FCV staff. Don't see FCV being dominant for a few years after this debacle, this could completely sink them. This area is about to see how many 'elite' or 'national level' programs the market can sustain when there's better fits for kids regionally if the talent level isn't there. |
