Of course they have. |
| Wonder who paid them off. |
| Heads are exploding all over DCUM! |
| Well, with the erection of a car dealer flag and installation of tacky pavers, I’d say eye sores are de jour in DC this year. So is pissing off your friendly neighbors. Ask Canada. |
What will they pee on next? |
| Streateries coming down in Mt Pleasant this week - what's it looking like on Connecticut Ave? |
| Still there as of 2 days ago. At the last minute, DC quietly changed the rule banning them from rush hour lanes so maybe they aren’t going to take it down? |
| Coming down on Wisconsin Avenue at Cathedral Commons |
| The Frenchman will protect his streetry to the bitter end! |
| There are some abandoned streeteries on Wisconsin north of Macomb that look like they were constructed with concrete salvaged from a war zone. You’d think that Cathedral Commons would be embarrassed to leave the Streeterubble there, which is also hazardous to cars using Wisconsin. |

Ah, good ol DCUM. Yes, please think about the cars. |
What about thinking about safety? Is it legal to have decrepit concrete barriers perpendicular to traffic in a travel lane on a major arterial road with no cones or reflectors to warn drivers of the sudden hazard ahead? |
| One of the city council members has introduced emergency legislation to make it easier to have a streatery year round. Reverses or eases a number of the requirements. Hearing is Dec 2nd, I think. Nothing like jamming this in with no notice so the public can’t really weigh in. |
| It’s in the process of being taken down. Only the concrete bollards remain. I think the city has to come pick them up. |
