You are lower than the gum on my shoe, you greedy pig.

DP- buck up and pay for tickets. No one owes you a chance at tickets.

Huh? People are more than willing to pay, I just want the ability to actually be able to buy the tickets. I have never been lucky to get even a code, despite registering for every single leg of this tour.

DC dates? Any news if she’ll add a show here?

It's not looking good for DC/Baltimore area. More likely that she adds extra shows at the already planned cities.

This is how Ticketmaster should handle it. You submit for your dates and the price you are willing to pay. CC upfront. You card is charged if you are selected. Forget this refreshing and waiting in the virtual queue for hours.

I like this idea.

It looks like they are spreading out the queue days to reduce the traffic on any given release day.

I really wish FedEx was added. it looks like its capacity is the same as some of the other venues. I'm still going to enter the lottery, but it's a lot easier when the venue is within driving distance.

We had no problems buying tickets in the resale market. There were tons of tickets not even purchased. If you want to go, you will.

The stadiums she hasn't been to are:
Lambeau Field (Green Bay)
FedEx
Cleveland Browns
Bank of America (Charlotte)
M&T Bank (Baltimore)
TIAA Bank (Jacksonville)
Highmark Stadium (Buffalo)

If she were to add shows, I'd say Green Bay and Buffalo are out- too small of local populations. Jacksonsville, maybe, bc the closest three are/were 5+ hours away (ATL and Miami) or three hours away (Tampa). But would she add a third Florida show? Unlikely. Cleveland is close to Pittsburgh and Detroit (2-2.5 hours away) so unlikely there. DC and Baltimore only had Philadelphia within a 2-2.5 hour drive. I guess it's close enough, but it really is such a large population center to leave "concert-less" - still surprised at least one of them wasn't on the list. I don't know that much about stadiums- is there something "wrong" with either of them that they're not amenable to big tours?

That said, Charlotte seems the most logical to me for adding another show- that's over 4 hours to the closet (Atlanta) or Nashville (7 hours). Even further for the other population centers in the state (i.e., Triangle area).

So much privilege. None of those resale tickets were remotely affordable for the average person. I can't spend $10,000 to take my kid. Get out of your own bubble. Seriously.

I know several people who when they got out of the queue to buy tickets buy extra for the sole purpose to scalp, resell at a super high price. Did they sell to their friends or family at what it costed them or just a little higher. NO. The entire resale business is disgusting.

I don't even know how you do this. Ticketmaster doesn't allow more than 1 account per phone number. Who has 10 phone numbers??

It seems like they're trying to prevent some of the issues of last time. I was browsing the FAQs and saw there is a 4 ticket limit and no transfer/resale.

Where did you see no transfer? Last time, I believe there was a 6 ticket limit, right? They also had a no resale. You could transfer to another TM account, however, for example your SIL could get the tickets and transfer 3 to you. Is that not an option this time?

Well, we are a family of 5 so 5 phone #s (cell phones).
I guess you coukd add in parents' work cell phones so that's 7 #s right there.

not too far fetched to have 10 phone numbers

Exactly this. Each kids numbers and then her own mom and dads and then the work cell phones.

I just looked at the FAQs again and I see the 4 ticket limit, but now I'm not seeing anything about not being able to transfer tickets. Maybe it was changed?

I didn’t even try the first time, but Indy is close to me (Chicago) and my kids love Taylor (as do I) so I’m trying this time! Crossing my fingers. I’ll pay the ticket price but not the ridiculous up charges, especially not for 4 tickets.
