troll / habitual OP basher?

I feel like I've been noticing an uptick in gratuitous OP bashing and random attacks, and I'm wondering if it's the same (or same few) offenders over and over. Example: 08:13 on this thread:

What I have noticed is that there are some posters who post almost nothing but negative posts. It is pretty easy to identify and get rid of them. There is a larger group of posters who tend to generally post appropriate, if not always helpful, posts but who also post the occasional gratuitous bashing post. That group is more difficult to handle. The poster in question is in the second group.
