safeway gas points

The girl at the checkout stand at the Georgetown Safeway told me today that the partnership with Exxon expired on May 31st. We now have to go to Safeway branded gas stations.

1) Is this true? I have googled and cannot find anything supporting this
2) Where are the Safeway branded gas stations located?

i believe this is true. Have no idea where the Safeway branded stations are but need to find them asap, love my points!

Put your zipcode on the Safeway website (right side of screen -- see "Gas Station Locator") to get a list of gas stations:

I always let my parents use my points since they live a lot closer to a Safeway gas station than we do. About the only time my dad calls me is to ask how many gas points we have

Shell has teamed up with fuelrewards.com for discounts.

Giant's prices are too high in my opinion, but they do offer from time to time 40 and 50 cents off a gallon when you buy enough items from a predetermined set.

Safeway really effed up not getting another gas partner set up for when Exxon/Mobil pulled out - they are getting their own rewards card - Plenti. I'm in CCMD and there are no Safeway gas stations anywhere near me.

Depends on the store, the one that re-opened in Alexandria is pretty nice.
