My 18 year old son enjoys playing chess with me. It's our "thing", and we have a match in progress on a little table in our living room all the time. We usually sit down together once during the weekend for an hour or so, but the game continues throughout the week, and we've each been known to take days to make our next move sometimes, and to let the other person realize that the move has been made.

We play board games, cards, Wii sports, we sometimes shoot basketball with them, go target shooting, hikes, camping. |
