Do you still play with your tween/teen?

Make believe with a teenager? No.

We'll play board games or card games, the occasional Wii game. Most likely though we'll pick a movie to watch and consume too much junk food.

11 yr old ds. We play his sport o' the season, occasionally build Legos, very occasionally boArd or card games (more in winter). Nerf gun battles is a good one. Tickle fights.

Yes, but unfortunately they can now out run me and beat me in most sports

The best is family board games. But they don't want to as much as a few years ago.....

We go to the basketball court, practice soccer and throw footballs, etc., even though I'm not very good. We play board games and go hiking and cycling.

PP here: I also take him to the pool and waterpark but at this point he goes to play with his friends while I relax and read... great outcome for both of us!

My 10 year old likes to stage plays and parents are frequent cast members.

Board games, yes. But I don't really call our time together "play". My kids and I walk together, we do projects, we cook and bake, we golf, we pick movies and TV series to watch together, etc.

My teen tells me she doesn't play anymore, she hangs out. So, I hang out with her. Happy to spend time with her doing whatever she enjoys.

That's what 15 is. He'll come back.

This was sweet. As for coming back, I hear you're right.

So true!

Like others have said, we take walks together, watch movies together, and go out to dinner or just hang out and talk. Once in a while we have a family board game night, but that's rare at this point.

Board games with 13 yr old DS and 10 yr old DD. Also before bed watching Big Bang Theory and letting them relax and tell stories from their day. Walking the dog. I wish there was more play in our life - will think about that.

DD16 and I play cards, Wii, board games, chess, run, give each other manicures/pedicures, she likes doing my makeup and hair, she's also a dancer so she will choreograph a routine and try to teach it to me (she did not get her dancing skills from me...I'm horrible!).

1. cooking together
2. doing laundry together
3. doing errands (lots of walking)
