| 2 year old DD finally has hair!! It's curly and tangly. I don't want to use super chemical-y detangler like J&J, what would you recommend? We use California Baby or Burt's Bees baby wash. |
| I use the Honest conditioner for my DD's curly hair. Smells awesome and smoothed and rectangles without weigh it it down or making it look oily. |
Sorry. That's smoothes and detangles. |

| Honest Co. spray-on conditioning detangler is the best we've used. And, I find that it helps if I use a good conditioner after washing my child's hair (1 - 3xs/week, depending)... After shampooing, I use either Mineral fusion's curl care conditioner or Acure's hair mask moisturizing root repair argan stem cell + mint deep conditioning. Then when combing hair, apply a light mist of the Honest Co' spray (more where needed), follow with a small bit of mineral fusion curl care beauty balm. |
| Hmm I really wanted to like Honest Co but I didn't like their conditioner at all. I didn't feel it did anything for my tangles, and the bottle design was really irritating - there's only that small little spout and it clogs easily. Never tried the spray on stuff though. |
| What texture hair? |
| Trukid! |
OP here - I'm not sure how to answer this question, but it is fine hair with loose curls right now. It's still fairly short, and getting thicker every month as more hair grows in. |
I don't understand the concept of using a hairbrush on curly hair. I have curly hair, too, and would never use a brush on it unless I straightened it first. Can someone explain this concept of using a hairbrush on curly hair? |
Are you white? Or African American, etc, |
Sorry pp - I have stick straight hair. I just put the link up bc OP can better evaluate whether DDs hair will take a brush or not. If it's just wavy (like it may be based on her description) a brush might work. That company also makes a comb. But again, with my hair being straight, I don't really know if one combs curly hair or not. |

kinky curly

| Flax seed gel. You can make this at home |
| My DD has thick kinky wavy hair, wakes up every morning with a bird's nest in the back of her head. I've tried everything (except Honest) and what works for us is brushing with the Wet Brush after putting on a small amount of the Original Sprout Detangling Spray on the nest. Might be too heavy for thin hair though. |
