Sauce for salmon?

Hello -- does anyone have a recipe for a nice sauce to serve with Salmon? I was thinking along the lines of an aioli or dill or herb sauce. Thank you.

Bearnaise sauce is wonderful with salmon.

Or mix yogurt, small spoonful of mayonnaise (trust me on that one), fresh dill, and lemon juice.

If you're looking for a basting a sauce / marinade, mix brown sugar, soy sauce and ginger together, spread it on top of the salmon, and roast.

Dill cream sauce: sour cream, lots of fresh chopped dill, garlic, lemon juice, and a little Dijon mustard. I've served this to people who don't usually like salmon and they eat tons and practically lick the plate. I cook the salmon on a plank on the grill with olive oil, garlic, salt and pepper and a sprig of fresh dill on top (remove the dill before serving).

I like this:

chopped cucumber
chopped dill
1 spoonful dijon mustard
nonfat sour cream and nonfat yogurt, equal portions

Or just buy tzatziki sauce and sprinkle some feta

Ina's Asian Grilled Salmon is outstanding. Just google for it.

more a glaze - but if you mix honey, mustard and soy together in roughly equal parts then marinate and cook the salmon in it (either bake or fry) its delicious.

I really like the creamy horseradish sauce at wegman's with salmon. It's not strong, goes really well with salmon.

Buerre Blanc is delicious with salmon but it's not light!

Have you tried grilling the salmon on cedar plank? You don't need any sort of sauce or recipe b/c the infused cedar (and aroma) are delicious.

Hello ladies -- thank you -- these all sound wonderful and I think I'll be trying all of them at some point. We eat a lot of salmon!

Also, try a pesto cream sauce. That will make salmon haters lick the plate too.
