How does Acosta sleep at night? Just another sociopath? Paid off? Guilty himself? F everyone who was in the position to enforce the law on these monsters and didn’t.

I assume he was paid off and is living a quiet life of luxury somewhere. I really wish the financial information would be released. The money trail would tell the whole story.

Yes, and isn't that why Republicans recently blocked access to the banks with regard to Epstein?

A despicable pedophile.

Acosta was a brazen careerist who believed two things - that abuse of teen girls isn’t actually abuse; and that if he was easy on Epstein is would be good for his political career. The only thing that has changed is that it is now marginally less tenable to abuse women/girls and get away with it. But make no mistake, careerists everywhere (of both parties) constantly let major crimes slide by because they want to keep their jobs and get promoted.

Look at all of the threads on the page, 80% of which are probably a direct effort to distract from RNC pedos.

The Miami Herald article linked above says he didn’t think the victims were “credible” enough to support a prosecution. Never mind that there were literally dozens telling the same story. There’s nothing they could do to make someone like Acosta find them credible.

Which, yeah, really does translate to “they don’t have any right to object to what happened.” Because you know he has to KNOW something happened. “Not credible” is just the explanation that has traditionally been socially accepted. But he knew crimes did happen, he just didn’t CARE.

The victims were PWT. That's why they didn't care.

Wow I hope one of the Congress members asked Acosta (1) if he ever partook in women/girls associate with Epstein and (2) if he was given or promised something of value for going light on Epstein.

Crazy that he was “défiant” in his testimony and “showed no remorse.” The guy definitely is hiding something in his own background. He does not sound like a neutral, uninterested party.

And the Epstein thread keeps rising to the top.

It will always be a stain on the Republican Party.

Imagine not caring that adults were abusing kids. What a prick.

+1. The girls were *children* as young as 14 (that we know of). There is no credibility issue that excuses that unless you (like Epstein!) believe that it is actually OK to have sex with teenage girls.

Why isn’t the lead line prosecutor Maria Villafaña ever called to testify?
