Details: Iran’s authorities have arrested 20 people accused of spying for Israel (Mossad), according to reports from Iranian state-affiliated media. The detainees are alleged to have provided sensitive information on the locations of military installations, security sites, police/army movements, and other strategic targets to Israeli intelligence, facilitating recent U.S.-Israeli strikes amid the 2025–2026 conflict. This announcement follows a broader espionage crackdown announced earlier in March (around March 10), where Iran’s Intelligence Ministry reported arresting 30 individuals (described as “spies, internal mercenaries, and operational agents” of the “American-Zionist enemy,” i.e., U.S. and Israel), plus a foreign national accused of espionage for the U.S./Israel while acting as a proxy for two unnamed Gulf countries. The latest 20 arrests appear to be a specific subset or follow-up focused on Mossad-linked operatives, with claims that recent Israeli precision strikes (e.g., on nuclear, oil, and military infrastructure) relied heavily on internal tip-offs from informants. Iranian officials have framed these arrests as a major counterintelligence success, vowing harsh punishments and “no leniency” to make examples of the suspects, often a prelude to public trials, executions, or propaganda displays. Tehran regularly announces such busts during heightened tensions to project internal resilience, deter collaboration, and counter Mossad’s penetration, which has been a persistent narrative, including past claims of infiltrating Iranian security units. Independent verification is limited, as these claims come from state sources amid the fog of war; Western/Israeli outlets often treat them with skepticism, viewing them as potential cover for internal purges or score-settling. |
That is the game plan for Iran. It’s not a sprint for them. It’s a marathon and the just need to tire the US which has a low threshold for pain. |

It would stupid for Iran to implement a terror attack because they are aware of the public opinion in the US towards the war. |
| True- but we are the ones killing civilians right now. |
| Is DCUM now affiliated with whatever BRICS news is? |
No, it’s just that we still have access to world news and the internet. Looks like there are anti-war protests going on in Tel Aviv. Wouldn’t it be funny if that was the government that was overthrown? |
I’ve seen this on some right wing Twitter pages…why do they think this? |
Russian-linked Twitter said there’s confirmation that Netanyahu is dead. Nobody else is reporting that, so it’s probably a rumor/misinformation based on Iran’s direct statement they intend to kill Netanyahu “if he is still alive” (noting those threats are all over MSM this morning). |
