We have been to Bradley Barbershop on Arlington Boulevard, but we would like to try another place. DS needs a straightforward short haircut.

The place I like best is in the Cabin John Mall--Tropicuts. The barber there--I'm blanking on the name--similar to Chang--worked for the US military and really takes his time with boy cuts. No one else I've found pays as much attention to the hairline. Sometimes you can find coupons for them online and they also have a fidelity card.

Ann's Barber Shop in Potomac Village. Ask for Ann.

Landell's on Falls Rd right before the village. Very talented.

we go there. We see only Edwin. If you haven't tried him, he's great with our DS.

OP here. Thank you for the suggestions! We love Edwin too but he has left the Bradley Barbershop : (

Edwin left!! It's so tragic! Does anyone know where he went? My husband asked the other barbers where he went but not surprisingly they wouldn't say. My son loved him!

PP here -- meant to add, they did tell me he opened a new shop with family. But don't know his last name.

Bump to see if anyone has found Edwin?

We went back to Bradley yesterday, taking our chances despite Edwin's departure. We'd tried Kidville in the meantime but the haircut was too long. So we got Anna at Bradley, who was awful. She obviously does not like kids or ever cut kids hair. My three year-old son is usually awesome at hair cuts, but he was being wiggly yesterday. She never smiled once or tried to calm him or talk to him or anything, she just told me I needed to come help him sit still "or find another stylist." He wasn't even being that bad. She proceeded to complain about him to another person there in Spanish and also to tell me that she's cut other kids hair before "and they were good." The hair cut was fine but she was basically angry the whole time.

Have loved Bradley and have been a loyal customer there but it's just too hit or miss. My son's hair is really full and tricky and we need someone good. Would love more suggestions!

All the good barbers left Bradley over the years and went to the place next to Continental subs in Kensington. Go there.
