| Spiro's in Kensington (corner of Connecticut and Knowles). |
| Salon familia in NW DC. We see Darlene. |
|
Spiro is the son of the guy who started/owned Bradley.
I (DH) like to take DS to Seven Locks, where they do a good job. He and DW, however, prefer Crissy at Kidville. On the one hand, I want him to go to a regular guy barber. (Or what passes for that, now that there aren't any old guy barbershops anymore.) On the other hand, this way DW still has to take him, and I get an hour to myself. |
| We like the Brookville barbershop in Chevy Chase. |
| Camillo's in Tenleytown. |
| We are going to try Ann's Barbershop in Potomac. Any particular barbers you would recommend there for boys' haircuts? Just Ann? |
depends on the barber. one lady there was terrible and traumatized my very relaxed kid. |
Karla is just as good as Crissy with the haircut. Our son had his hair cut by both and we only see her. I like Kidville because there is a lot of other things to do in Bethesda after/before the haircut. |
| Bethesda Metro Hair on Old Georgetown across from Safeway. It's really a barber shop with a fancy name. |
| We used to love Spiro's Barbershop in the Little Falls Mall (now the Shoppes at Sangamore). Not sure if he is still there, but it wasn't as crowded as Bradley and Spiro could cut a kid's hair in two minutes flat -- no fussing, no problems. That man was a Godsend. |
| Does anyone know the last name of Karla who cut hair at Kidville in Bethesda or where she works now? |
I used to go there but my favorite people kept leaving. Now I really like the 8000 Wisconsin Ave barber shop, esp. Jenny. |
| Anyone been for a kid haircut since salons/ barbershops reopened? I'm looking for a place near Bethesda to take my 4yo (curly hair) |
I would love to know this as well! She is great with kids and I’d love to know where she is now. |
