K Street spin machine in overdrive- need that next appropriation!!! More villas, more yachts !!
War is being won. Just another $25 billion installment needed. |
Nonsense. The Ukrainians will maximize the use of every thing they can get their hands on. A perfect example is how they took old, defunct 1950s anti-tank grenades, fitted them with tailfins, attached them to cheap FPV drones with a release mechanism, and used them to take out dozens and dozens of Russian tanks, APCs, artillery pieces, and so on. The F-35s will backfill the F-16s in NATO countries. It makes no sense to take all of the fighters in Europe, send them to Ukraine, leaving the rest of Europe defenseless. |
Russian troll spin machine in overdrive |
Whaddaya know? It now looks like it was an Ukrainian rocket accident. https://novayagazeta.eu/articles/2023/09/08/vletaet-krasnaia-raketa Use google translate or wait a couple of days for an official English language version. This is Novaya Gazeta, a fervently liberal, anti-Putin outlet that has been expelled from Russia. |

Doing the bidding of RUSSIA, at their specific request, is not going to help him win DoD contracts in the future. |

And here is the official English version of the Ukrainian and Russian largesse in Forte dei Marmi:

I disagree. Ukraine earned it's place in NATO and once they're a member, I doubt anyone would dare object to Ukraine having it's own fleet of F-35's. They've proven themselves many times over in comparison to other allies. |
+1 Now that we know Musk has been using Starlink for Russia’s benefit, we know why Ukraine hasn’t won already. Ducking traitor. |

This ludicrous comment reminds me of the conspiracy wackos who say that drug manufacturers invented COVID-19 in order to sell vaccines. Among the inanities of this comment is that vaccines are among the least profitable products of a drug manufacturer. Similarly, defense companies make money by selling the newest jets and aircraft carriers with the latest technology. Not by having 20-year-old mothballed artillery and tanks transferred to Ukraine. In addition, a money-hungry defense company does not want their equipment tested in an actual battle, because then everyone will know whether the equipment met specifications. |
Doesn't take a genius to put 2 and 2 together that if the old stuff from the reserves will be lost, new stuff will have to be bought. |
