I heard in another thread a few days ago that somebody found some hand sanitizer at a gas station. My DD says we should start stocking up on soap because that’ll be the next to go.

Don’t worry, no testing means no infections. |
This contradicts 11:22 that says there were contacted by CDC to come in for testing. |
If they went to the hospital, they don't have mild illness |
The benefits of contact tracing and testing: now they know to quarantine themselves. |
Exactly!!! |
VERY insular community. |
You don't need masks. Soap works just as good, if not better than hand sanitizer. But if you NEED hand sanitizer, rumor has it that Bath & Body Works has their smelly ones. |

I think sooner we all accept that we are almost all positive, sooner we can try pay closer attention to our symptoms and seek help. At this point it is not if we will get it, it is a question of when or if we are already carriers.
As for government, restricted travel was ok, but not getting tests and actually getting ready is the worst oversight of this government yet. And that is something. |
|
People shouldn't use masks because they don't work and they're taking masks away from healthcare professionals who need them?
Please. This is obvious propaganda to avoid outcry from preventable shortage of masks. |
I think we need to accept we are all going to get it and start planning how to slow the spread so we don’t reach capacity in hospitals. |
| P.S. fitting and fit testing is something you can learn from a 2 minute YouTube and a hundred thousand pesticide applicators and painters who never graduated high school do it every day |
Sounds smart of cruise companies: cruise through infected areas

I think the message people need to get through their head is that "the government" is not going to ride in on a white horse and save everyone. You know who is responsible for you? YOU. You and your neighbors are going to need to rely on each other. The "system" is proven to be too big, too complex, and too overleveraged to support people the way people think it will in a crisis.
FEMA is great for things like "a flood" or "a tornado". A nationwide pandemic....all bets are off. We all need to learn what we can and make our best most non panicked judgments. |
Staff on these cruises are huge vectors I'm sure. |
