Yes, he is lying. Despite trump, our cities are very desirable places to live and work and they are the economic engine of the country. So when he sends ICE to our cities, which push kids out of schools and business to shutter, it slows our economy down. And yes, people are struggling. No. What closes down when ICE goes in are the protesters who attack and prevent ICE from doing its job. That is why the sanctuary cities and counties should turn the criminals over from the jails.

Go look at the lists of people ICE has arrested. There have been some pretty awful people. The two people shot in Minneapolis were misinformed if they thought that ICE was just out hunting people. Sad for them. But, you cannot attack law enforcement.

for every one awful person, there are 30 decent people and abnother 15 actual Americans who have done nothing wrong. That isn't a very good batting average.

If they were just coming to town, taking actual criminals, i.e., people who had committed actual crimes, from the jails who were not citizens, then there wouldn't BE any protests.
