The speech had little relation to reality. Most out here with young adults looking for jobs in this job market would go back to the prior administration in a heartbeat, regardless of political party.

It is so f-in stupid. How many wars have been fought over stupid oil. So much of our foreign policy, a lot of it shameful, has revolved around access to oil. Now we have technologies to move away from oil. Why would we not want to move away from this finite, polluting resource to be energy independent and have less pollution? Why would we not want to be the leader in these technologies? Trump and his cronies just trying to squeeze the last of the oil money out and the rest of the world be damned? Such a frickin moron.

Because Trump really does believe that it is 1950, 1960 and is treating the economy as such. The way he thinks. His beliefs. They are all thoughts, ideas, actions of 1960.

I'm not a Trumper, but the first chart does not show declining sales. Sales are still up 2.5% YoY. The amount of increase YoY shows a small declining trend, but that's different.
