First of all, that’s too late. I’m sure it will be of great comfort to the Greenlanders and NATO members who died in the invasion.

When the Ukraine scandal came out, Republicans were saying that if such a thing were true it would be grounds for impeachment, but when it turned out the accusations were true, they decided that impeachment wasn’t actually necessary, after all. When January 6 happened, Republican senators whose personal safety had been threatened were personally outraged and expressed that Trump should be held accountable, yet when the impeachment vote came up, they decided accountability wasn’t really necessary. Their continued inaction and deliberate denial of justice has brought us to this point. If they wouldn’t act after an attack on America and the imminent danger to themselves, I don’t expect them to attack after Greenland has been attacked and its citizens have been endangered. They’ll realize the danger has been done, how unfortunate, but impeachment won’t fix anything - oh, well. Not to mention, our country will be in a crisis facing worldwide condemnation, widespread sanctions, and possible military threat, and they won’t want to disrupt leadership in a time of crisis. I fear the ultimate outcome is more likely that Trump will end up declaring a state of emergency and declaring martial law on America than that Republican senators would actually grown a spine and convict him.

We'll see how this goes. Clearly there hasn't been a redline that's ever been relevant to Trump, but this one seems different.

+1. NATO has only been activated once since its formation-after 9/11 where its members supported the USA in its attack on Afghanistan. Hundreds of British soldiers died to support this US. Danish soldiers died too. And Trump/MAGA repays them by threatening to blow up NATO and take Greenland…

If they are deploying troops to Greenland to attack us, it's safe to say that NATO doesn't really exist at all.

NATO does exist. There is a certain “leader” that doesn’t respect the organization is fine with doing away with 75 years of partnership and security cooperation. I wonder who that would be?
