Biden Insiders Confess He Was Severely Cognitively Impaired

So, what do we make of the fact that the Democrats flagrantly lied for over a year about Biden's mental degeneration, even going as far as to claiming it was Russian disinformation?

At this point, I think we can safely say that it is true that an unelected cabal took over Biden's presidency because he was not able to govern.

How do we square this kind of power-hungry betrayal of voters and America with the claim that Democrats are defending democracy?

The books:

“Original Sin: President Biden’s Decline, Its Cover-Up, and His Disastrous Choice to Run Again” by Jake Tapper and Alex Thompson

“Fight: Inside the Wildest Battle for the White House” by Jonathan Allen and Amie Parnes

“2024: How Trump Retook the White House and the Democrats Lost America” by Josh Dawsey, Tyler Pager and Isaac Arnsdorf

“Uncharted: How Trump Beat Biden, Harris, and the Odds in the Wildest Campaign in History” by Chris

Revelations:

Vice President Kamala Harris' aides were so concerned about the president's health that they "strategized around the possibility that Biden might die in office." The authors report that Jamal Simmons, the vice president's communications director, drew up a “death-pool roster” of federal judges who could swear in Harris as president if Biden died.

Ron Klain, a longtime aide to Biden and his former White House chief of staff, helped the president prepare for his fateful debate with Trump last year. Klain told Whipple that Biden “didn’t know what Trump had been saying and couldn’t grasp what the back and forth was.”

Klain also described how Biden “didn’t really understand what his argument was on inflation” and “had nothing to say about a second term other than finish the job.”

Klain viewed Biden, then 81, as “out of it” and even “half-seriously” worried that Biden thought he was “president of NATO.”

You Democrats who perpetuated this fraud on the American people won’t recover in our lifetime from your evil deeds.

Not a Trump fan at all--BUT he his brain is still working. Biden was dead as a doornail and the party gave us Harris-- a non-elected official that could not even win a senate seat on her own. The party is pathetic and run by yes-men strategists make money no matter what and they only listen to elite donors who are completely out of touch with what is going on in this country. As long as the party is reliant on this model nothing will be achieved.

I have no doubt that Trump has some real deficits, but:
1. Many of those deficits are just who he is and are not age-related
2. Most of his sociopathic self is still there

Trump is more dangerous than Biden because Trump is a sociopath. However, Biden was not fit to be president, should have stepped down, and that's completely on him and his inner circle. You can't blame Trump for that or get into whataboutism. Trump was just as unfit in 2017 as he is in 2025, but that's what his voters chose. Voters didn't choose the Biden described in these articles.

There are many folks to point fingers at for the disastrous elections of Trump and Biden and this INCLUDES the voters who nominated and elected them. Most adults are smart enough to know 80 year old people shouldn't be POTUS yet many of those smart enough to know better people were still somehow duped into thinking it was "okay". Well, it wasn't okay and now we have an unhinged president who took over for a senile president.

Slow clap for the ignorant American voters.

In 2024, in every state, on every ballot, there was a 60yo next to a 78 yo.

She wasn't given a fair chance due to her association with the extremely unpopular 81 year old sitting POTUS. Now it's Vance's turn to feel the wrath of being the VP of one of the most unpopular presidents ever. Harris, Pence, and Mondale know all about this wrath!

By the voters, who keep insisting that there was only a choice between two 80 yo’s. No, there was a younger woman who kept speaking out against Project 2025 and had the audacity to occasionally laugh.

Harris should have been elected, no doubt. This being said; anyone who knows anything about politics knows that when an unpopular incumbent has to be replaced by the VP of that unpopular incumbent so close to the election that the American people have no say in who the nominee is, that unfortunate soul being thrown in the mix at the last minute as the nominee has absolutely no chance of winning even when their opponent is as unfit and weak as Trump.

It's amazing how close the final result was all things being considered. If the GOP had nominated a normal candidate in 2024 like they used to pre-2016, that candidate would have secured 500 electoral votes and 70% of the popular vote

Who was acting as President when Biden wasn't?????

Biden was for the most part just as Trump is acting as POTUS for the most now. That's the scary part. We've trusted elderly unfit people with processing tons of very important info from daily briefings 24/7 365 since Obama left office.

LOL.
There is no question about who is running the country with Trump in charge. None.
You may not like his policies or his actions, but to think that he is not running the show is laughable.

Biden, however, was clueless. Who was running the autopen? Who was making decisions?

I'm not sure which is better. Trusting an elderly person with processing tons of info and making appropriate decisions according to their understanding of that info or having someone behind the scenes making most of the decisions. Neither situation is anywhere close to ideal. The POTUS position was never intended to be a figurehead position. Simply based on the chaos and frequent turnover in the Trump Administration, I have more faith in Biden's advisors calling the shots than Trump or his advisors.

Biden had a competent, ethical, and professional cabinet.

Trump has an incompetent, unqualified, unethical, unprofessional cabinet full of grifters who don’t even believe in the Constitution or the rule of law.

The presidency is not a dictatorship. It’s a group project of experts and public servants who serve the president to carry out their agenda and policies. There are plenty of safeguards in a normal presidency. Trump is consolidating power and not even paying attention to what his incompetents are doing. That’s not normal in the US.

The age issue is just the outrage bait of the day. The important issue we’re facing is CORRUPTION. Pay attention.

Well, who cares if he was cognitively impaired at this point. We got rid of him. The Republicans elected somebody who is obviously cognitively impaired.

Trump answers every question with “I don’t know anything about that” . And he uses an auto pen too.

You’re being played for a fool and used to make him richer.

I agree to some extent but it took a power vacuum created by an elderly unfit president to pave the way for the elderly unfit corrupt president to regain power. We must all do better.

You are referring to Zuckerberg and his dropping almost half BILLION dollars in 2020 for the democrats, right?

In the 2020 U.S. election, Mark Zuckerberg and Priscilla Chan donated around $400 million to nonprofits like CTCL and CEIR to help local election offices handle COVID-19 challenges. Critics argue the funds favored Democratic-leaning areas, with reports showing that over 90% of CTCL grants in key battleground states went to Biden-won counties.

This is no shock to me. I think both parties have become insane with how they defend their candidates and can't be open to criticism. i lost so much respect for democrats claiming Biden was fit and Harris was qualified. I have no respect for republicans who insist it's fine for Trump to accept gifts from Qatar (major sponsor of terrorism and apparently BFF with Iran) and cozy up to the new leader of Syria-a terrorist in a suit. They turn a blind eye to what has happened to the Druze and Christians.

I venture onto this forum now and then, but I find is gross how both sides can turn to insulting eachother and throwing around extreme words rather than engaging in open and respectful discussion. I miss the last century when we could discuss politics and disagree and you could have lively discussions with friends who's beliefs differ and nobody cancelled anyone.
