Trump would never fire his staffer over pushing a dedicated ANC employee. What makes you think that? Come on, he probably laughed when it happened. Just like he encouraged the guy who tried to attack the press yesterday at his event and cheered him on. |
Nothing about this points to the employee making this up. She was defending the military’s sacred gradition. Of course, Trump hates the military (and, by extension I assume the Trump defender above does as well given they’re told what to think and who to hate). |
DP 1) the mere fact that you put victim in quotes reveals your bias. Why are you so disdainful of a staff that receives nothing but accolades from the families at Arlington for their professionalism? You don't even know the person who made the report and yet you act as if you know she is lying. Talk about bias. 2) The Army never likes to get into politics and if the employee refuses to press charges then yeah, it's not likely to go in pursuit of them. Has nothing to do with the merits of the charges. The Army DID release a highly unusual statement in defense of the cemetery employee and rebuking Trump for partisan politics in the cemetery. 3) Yes, of course he has been, that's what happens when you are a con, when you break laws, rules, regulations, ethics, etc. Why do you think Trump is above the law and should be excused for his infractions? |
The opposite could also be true. The Army could fear bothe the current administration and a potential Harris administration, so they issued a public statement. They could have just said the matter is under investigation and can't comment. |
Are you a journalist writing an article? Please find that section in the AP style book and post it. Thanks. |
I'm sure PP will be back with that reference just as quickly as Trump's video exonerating his people. |
This. MAGA is desperately trying to muddy the waters. |
Probably because they don’t want the Arlington employee harassed, swatted or killed, and probably because everyone works so hard to keep the maga beast appeased. “Lawfare!” they shout, stupid and unaware that yes, Republicans should follow laws too. |
“I desperately want the Trump team to release their video of the event and name the accuser publicly. It’s time to take the gloves off and stop playing nice with these people who made this whole thing up.” Was this you? Yes, pp is right. You’re a bully and a clown and you would vote for the GOP even if Trump dug up a corpse and humped it. There’s no basement for people like you. Dare I say it? It’s weird your fealty for this man. |
No, the ARMY would fire the cemetery staffer. FFS, please keep up. ![]() |
No, they don't want attention on it anymore because it's a bad look for the Biden-Harris Administration. Trump looked Presidential (having been invited), while Biden was at the beach and Harris was campaigning. The Army doesn't want attention on it anymore because it would pit the Army against Gold Star Families when there is a massive shortfall in recruiting (i.e. why was Trump there? To lay a wreath at the graves of 13 service men and women who died because of a poorly-executed withdrawal from Afghanistan - not a great recruitment message). Again, the Biden-Harris administration could clean up a lot of their failures by showing some measure of humility. Instead, they're hoping the media will "memory hole" those failures in favor of yet another Trump scandal. This strategy is becoming less and less effective, but they're hoping to hold on until Election Day. |
Of course I have a bias. Just like you have a bias. Duh. Are you a child? |
Trump was there to film a commercial. |
You're not very good at this, are you? |
