| ... that their teenager had a party at their house last night when they were out of town? |
| I haven't. Not even when the police came banging on my door at 7am looking for the troublemaker kids next door. But if I were more friendly with them, I probably would have. |
| Would you want to know if your kid had a party while you were out-of-town? I would so I would tell the parents even if I didn't know them. |
Wouldn't you be worried that your kid gets labeled as the snitch? |
| Nope. Let it be. They may find out it was you, then your house gets egged, car keyed etc. |
| Define "party." |
According to my DD there were about 75 to 100 kids there (all high schoolers) and there was alcohol and probably pot. I grounded DD for attending the party and lying to me about where she was going last night. But I don't know if this is something I should tell the parents about. |
| Nope do not involve yourself. |
The neighbors will probably let them know. Or they will figure it out from the mess/things broken etc. |
| Mail an anonymous letter to the parents. |
| Just worry about you and yours. Really. |
| Nope. You honestly think the kids can clean up perfectly from a 75 kid party? No way. They'll give themselves away. |
If there was alcohol and (even maybe) pot, then you should definitely tell. |
Yup. Or the neighbors will tell them. I know there is no WAY my teenager could clean up well enough to hide that from me. |
| No. They will find out. Stay out of it. |
