So beautiful!

Ok so I know the famous whitish cherry trees. Looks like there's also a pink version?

And that lotus-type tree….looks like two types, a darker color purple and a ivory/pale pink version?

And the pale pink tree with the drooping fronds (like a weeping willow style)

And this white/ivory…daisy-like tree

and anything else…or links to pictures would be great!

TIA!

Yes, dogwoods also come in pink and white. Also pear trees bloom white.

I love those. Our old neighbors in Arlington had one and I've got a nice picture of DS in his stroller in front of it.

Now we live in Colorado and I so miss the DC area springtime! It usually doesn't green up here until May. It's snowing right now.

Why does the Bradford pear tree smell awful when it blooms?

Just a word of caution on this one - as pretty as it is, it's becoming invasive in Eastern North America, so if you are considering planting, try to avoid this one!

Avoid pear trees.

Dogwoods are also beautiful. Eastern redbuds. Apple trees have beautiful blossoms also.
