Spinoff: interracial matches you hardly see

Black male and Korean female
Black male and Indian female
Chinese/Korean/Japanese male and white female.

Why is that?

I see a lot of Black male/Korean female but my family is military so maybe that makes the difference.

I should have said ex military. Because that's true.

I agree with the PP. It definitely not unusual to see Korean female, black male. Especially of the generation that went to Korea in the '60s.

I also disagree with your third bullet. See those all of the time, too. Where do you live, OP?

I would say though that Korean (or Chinese or Japanese as well) male / black female seems pretty uncommon

You must have lived/grown up on the west coast.

This had better not be sadsack Asian guy, with a new angle on complaining about how white women won't date him.

I can think of a dozen white women/Asian man couples I know here.

What I do not see is black women with Asian men.

I've seen and know couples like all of the above.

This post just wants to stir the pot.

I actually don't think I've seen this combo.

Agree with this one, at least in the contiguous US. Maybe more common in Hawaii or the Caribbean islands?

EXCUSE ME,

I am the happy progeny of a Japanese father and a White mother. Not from the West coast.

Thank you. Carry on with your idiocies.

I actually have been seeing an increase of East Asian males (Chinese/Korean/Japanese) with white females. Its been a recent thing over the past few years.

I actually think because there is a dearth of educated males and because of their tiger mom upbringing the East Asian males fill that void.

I don't think I've ever seen a south Asian (Indian) with an East Asian.

Actually I've seen a bunch of indian men with east asian women. The other way around not so much.

I'm an American born Chinese male married to a white female. I was born, raised and have spent my entire life on the East Coast. I know many, many Asian Americans of both genders married to white partners.

Such generalizations are the reason incorrect stereotypes and racial bias come about. Stop making poorly deduced generalizations from small sample sizes so you won't look like a fool or a bigot.
