| I am white female who has been in relationships with two different Asian men. They are wonderful! Would love to find another. <sigh> |
Not around here. See it all the time. |

Basotho and Papuan.
What an idiotic thread. |
Are you all asian-americans? Because the interracial marriage rate for american-born Asian men is almost as high as Asian women. Like in the mid 30% range. Like you say, its when you begin looking at recent immigrants that the proportions skew to the way you normally see the numbers presented. |
Actually, we were all born in S. Korea but came here when we were little, 2, 4, and 6. You can look at education levels too. We all attended Ivy or equivalent and have MD, JD, or MBA from top 5 programs and most every Asian I know from a similar education background has a spouse of a different race. |

I think you don't see so many Asian men with black women because there just aren't that many black women in the US population compared to the numbers of white women. The US is only about 13% African American, only half of which would be women.
As a few posters have pointed out, black men are more likely than black women to have met a spouse as part of military service. |
| Muggle and Half-giant. |
| Most of the black female, white male couples I know are higher educated or military. |
| I agree with others who say that Asian male and white female isn't that rare. I do think Asian male/black female is rare though, but I have seen it a couple of times. |

I am a black woman and my ex is Chinese/White. You don't see it as often. But there are several groups now on fb for am/bw couples
I've seen it only a few times. The guy I dated surprisingly only dates women of color. He prefers black women. |
I have a close friend whose mom is black, dad is Thai |
| Another military brat here and I've seen every match except Asian/Hispanic |
| Black women seem the least likely generally to have a different race partner. |
This, but I'm married to a Hispanic guy. |
