In one recorded call, a Gazan civilian testified that Hamas murdered his cousin because he tried to seek help from UNRWA. In another conversation, a civilian said he does not leave his home because he fears Hamas will seize it and use the property to fire toward Israel and destroy his house.

One civilian is heard on a recording saying, "When will you get rid of [Hamas]? They killed my cousin yesterday because he went to UNRWA."”

What a sick entity is this Hamas.

LOL tell us how IDF gets these testimonials. Do they have officers with clipboards on the sidewalks?

No, these are recorded conversations.

Any day now Israel will turn all this testimony and the other evidence they have collected over to international human rights organizations for full investigations with which they will cooperate fully. Right?

I don't know why you are assuming Hamas is such a wonderful organization. Do you think Hamas is giving out lollipops to kids?

Hamas invaded Israel from Gaza. They committed extreme atrocities. They launched a war. Everyone would still be alive if it wasn't for Hamas and what they did.

Every nation in the world would respond militarily to an invasion like what Hamas committed.

If you don't like it, don't start wars. Most people avoid it because they are brutal and awful. But Hamas chose this.

It took more than two months for the UN to even acknowledge that Israeli women suffered during the Hamas attacks. The UN has no credibility. And neither does Amnesty International. Or Human Rights Watch. All those organizations are DEI and profoundly unsympathetic to women and children who aren't part of their list of acceptable people.

You know what, you're right. The people who ran around with the "40 beheaded babies" business are much more credible, right?

I am so sick of these pro-Hamas protesters. Good for this guy not putting up with this crap.

Pass a law saying that any protesters impeding traffic will be arrested and have a minimum sentence of a given time in jail for the 1st offense. And, make the time significant. Months, if not years.
A subsequent offense results in a much lengthier jail sentence.
What they are doing is unlawful and dangerous.

More and more Gazans are speaking up against Hamas. Slowly, of course, and at some danger. In a better world, we would see Gazans and Israelis fight Hamas. https://www.newsweek.com/hamas-tortured-me-dissent-heres-what-they-really-think-palestinians-opinion-1857169

Strange, I didn’t say anything about Hamas. My comment was about how I assumed Israel, a first world democracy committed to the rights of civilians, would behave. Because Israel wants the international community to know the truth about all this, right?

International Human Rights Organizations that are investigating Hamas’ war crimes? Folks mocked Israel’s recording of PIJ terrorists conceding there was a missile misfire at whatever that hospital was months ago. But the US did not dispute it. Why so cynical? Hamas is really bad, no?

I dunno, why did Israel's first lady blamed Hamas for "cutting up a pregnant woman and stabbing her fetus" with the footage from 2017 Mexico cartel? Boggles the mind. It is a big unexplained mystery of nature.

Except nobody in this thread is currently talking about that photo as supposed evidence of Hamas atrocities, yet here YOU are, falsely touting footage of Russian atrocities in Ukraine as supposed IDF atrocities. That's a big deflection fail. The big unexplained mystery of nature is the one about the argument you thought would work - but doesn't.

What do you mean, nobody? I'm talking about right here.

Maybe we can talk about the war of competing lies, would you like that?

Yep, you are the only one here talking about the Israeli first lady's tweet. Nobody else here did. Nobody else here is giving it the credence and importance you seem to think it should have. Tough luck there. No pro-Israel poster was citing that tweet to try and generate emotional responses.

But YOU were the one who brought up supposed "OMG the IDF is using banned white phosphorus to burn babies!" which is untrue, yet you were caught actively using it to incite anger - whereas none of the pro-Israel posters were using the supposed tweet, which most of us haven't even seen in the first place.

So much for your false equivalence fail.

Yes - lots of instances of Hamas stealing and hoarding food and supplies for themselves and shooting civilians who need it if they get too close to the humanitarian shipments. And UNRWA seems to be working in collusion with Hamas as well, they certainly aren't stopping any of it or reporting any of it. And as we know, some of the freed hostages recognized UNRWA workers among the people holding them hostage.

It seems to me we all can agree that Palestinian children are INNOCENT. Can the other countries not work together to create and transport them to a refugee camp, maybe in Egypt or Lebanon? It’s nuts that children are still in harms way.

First, and unfortunately, we can’t all seem to agree that Palestinian children are innocent. That’s why theres so much vocal defense of the bombing of civilian infrastructure/indiscriminate killing.

But the reason they cannot all be “transported” to Egypt or Lebanon is because they would never be allowed to return to Gaza or the West Bank. They would become permanently stateless. Forcible deportation is a war crime (goes by the name of “ethnic cleansing”) and while the Israeli government is pushing hard for such cleansing to take place, the neighboring states are not willing to be party to a war crime.

So it’s best to leave them in harms way? Interestingly most countries offered Ukrainians a way out of Ukraine, knowing that most likely they will never return to the occupied areas. Such an idiotic argument, we would rather let them die …

Or you can stop bombing. Just a thought.

"Bombing" has largely been replaced by targeted drone strikes, it would appear. Maybe not all of it, but a whole lot. And of course, Hamas is fully capable of ending the conflict by stopping. Until then, the IDF will pursue its goals of dismantling Hamas.

Yes I see, doing a great job of eliminating these pesky Al-Dahdouh children with the drone strikes. Hamas, not so much. Reporter’s kids, yes.

The IDF targets the families of those who speak out. They want to intimidate other journalists and poets from speaking up against Israel. That's why they butchered Al-Dahdouh's 15yo and 7yo children and his 18-month-old grandson. It takes incredible courage for Palestinians to speak out against their oppressors, given what they have to risk. Practicing free speech means you and your children and grandchildren could be murdered.

They’ve killed more journalists and their families than Hamas in Gaza. I guess their battle is with the press. They don’t want the cameras on the injured and maimed because they are burned severely . Israel burned its own citizens severely on 10/7 as well when they bombed the kibbutz because they were too ineffective or intimidated to go to Hamas face to face house by house . This is Israeli eyewitness’ words. The government left them to fend for themselves for six hours . Some Hamas eben got so bored they told them to call the police or military so they can arrive and nothing until an aerial bombing of Beeri kibbutz by Israel.

Reported.

That's absolutely false and you are a disgusting person for posting these repeatedly debunked falsehoods.

Because it's war right now.

The first priority once the shooting stops will be figuring out how the Netenyahu government allowed this to happen to begin with. This was a huge security failure on Israel's part

As for how Israelis conduct this war, it's war. It's not rational. It's not moral. It's not fair. It's a bunch of 20 year old boys trying to kill each other.

Not a healthy place.

Do you think the Marines on Iwo Jima were full of kindness and mirth and good fellowship?

Are you investigating that too?

Hamas invaded Israel and launched this war. And it's sad and tragic. It really doesn't matter who investigates anything. Berlin was terrible. So too Stalingrad. More recently, Fallujah and Mosul.

Why Hamas started this will forever be a mystery. War is serious business. The consequences last for hundreds of years. And no one gives a damn about some investigation.

I wasn’t but you entirely overestimate the importance of who said what on DCUM. Did the First Lady post bogus footage or didn’t she? She did. That’s not in question. Everybody lies.

The 18-month old Adam Al-Dahdouh, who evacuated with his family EXACTLY WHERE ISRAEL TOLD THEM TO GO, only to be killed there, is a 20-year old trying to kill someone? Okay.
