And when the paper came out of the printer, turned out my 4yo DD had drawn an outline of her hand on it in orange crayon.
So tempting to send as is... |
| Can you bold the middle finger? LOL! |
| LOL at both of you! |
| People still print and mail their tax forms? I did not know that. |
Now you know! You should totally send as is OP

If you are a Maryland resident and have out of state taxable income (this includes VA if 1099 and not W2), then you must file a paper copy of your other state return to claim the credit. And turbotax does not properly print the relevant MD form. |
You've been schooled, 16:04! Serves you right. |
| Also in MD, if you owe money, better to mail it in. They're about 3-4 weeks behind on opening the incoming mail, so it takes them a while to cash the check. |
I file in CA and MD and do it electronically. |
Me too. I file ny and md, both electronically and claimed the credit. |
LOL! This is the best post ever!!!!!!! |
16:19 here. Hopefully you are not doing this as a MD resident. From the instructions for MD form 502CR (http://forms.marylandtaxes.com/14_forms/502CR.pdf)
I'm not sure how one electronically files the copy of the out-of-state return with the Comptroller of MD. TurboTax will not do it. Perhaps another package does. |
| H&R Block software charges you $19.95 to e-file the state return. I'd rather mail it and save $19. |
| I do the same PP. File federal for free with Turbo tax and mail my MD for the cost of 1 or 2 stamps. |
The person that processes your return has nothing to do with how much you pay for taxes. It is all set by Congress. The clerk is just doing his/her job... |
