| Lilly Pulitzer short-shorts with a see through white blouse and pumps is NOT an appropriate Easter Sunday outfit. In fact, no grown woman should ever wear short-shorts to mass. |
| Maybe not, but I guarantee you care more than Jesus does. |
| No grown woman over the age of about 26 should wear short shorts, ever. |
| Those are seriously cute, but not for church. |
| True, but are you really doing the work of the Lord by judging someone for what they are wearing while they are in church? |
That's what I was thinking, too, and the church needs members so perhaps you should just try to be welcoming. |

We start mass singing "all are welcome". All are welcome does not have a caveat that it does not include people wearing shorts, jeans, or sweat pants. It includes people who may not have been there since last Easter, visitors and people who attend mass daily. Crying babies, preschoolers who can not stay quite, individuals with disabilities and the individuals who look you up and down to judge what you are wearing. All are welcome.

I judge people for lots of things , but what someone wears to church? Umm, no. The person is IN church, which IMO is what counts.

All the cute Easter clothes are made for gentler climates than the one we have here, in my humble opinion. |
I'd personally judge someone for wearing that anywhere in early April. They're wanting attention on their body, not on the Lord. |
| People like the OP are why I stopped going to church. |
Why do you care? You are not there to judge other peoples fashion choices. |
So did you stop going to movies, sporting events, restaurants etc. too? People who make statements like you did always amuse me because you have essentially done what you wanted to and attempt to justify your decision. Just take responsibility and be done with it. BTW...a see through blouse isn't appropriate attire in many places and church is one of them. |
