Blake Lively- Jason Baldoni and NYT - False Light claims

This article (from August) is an interesting read, wherein the Wayfarer leadership discuss their business model and goals as a studio.

In my opinion, the most interesting part of it is the part where Justin discusses Wayfarer's decision to partner with Sony on It Ends With Us (note: Sony was not just the distributor but also reportedly co-financed the film):

Justin is quoted as saying: "We ended up deciding to partner with Sony. We talked internally about it [at Wayfarer] - Well, should we make this on our own completely, or should we partner? We talked for a while about that, because on one hand, we were starting something that we wanted to be able to control completely, but on the other hand, we wanted to make sure that this had the best chance of being seen by as many people as possible.”

Sure seems like this suggests that as of August (after ALL of the alleged “steal the movie” stuff happened), Baldoni still recognized that Wayfarer had made the conscious strategic decision to give up some measure of control over the film in favor of making a movie with a bigger chance for significant box office success.

Then she went crazy on surgeries and now larps as some sort of old money New England WASP mom. Similar aesthetic Taylor Swift guns for, even canoodling with the Kennedy boy and buying that gilded age mansion on the coast of Rhode Island.

Again, don’t want to make the focus her looks, but this is some impressive plastic surgery. Someone can objectively go from a 5 to 10/10, with a good plastic surgeon. Her surgeries are extensive by normal standards but done well so that it looks natural and inconspicuous. Same with her BFF. The surgeries and procedures were gradual as well.

Wayfarer does have an HR director but I haven't seen her name mentioned in anything. You would think she would have been involved in the on set meetings related to the behavioral complaints.

Serious allegations are supposed to be sent to SAG because they are an
unbiased third-party and they launch an investigation. That was not done here.

According to SAGs website, SAG does not investigate. Actors can have their lawyers lodge an official complaint with SAG. SAG has a team who reviews the complaint to see if it aligns with their policies. SAG then sends the complaint along with the policy on harrassment and discrimination to the production company and it is the responsiblity of the production company to investigate and report back to SAG.

Seems like there's conflicting information about SAG or their abilities. All I've heard from the entertainment business and entertainment sources is this incredible power that SAG has to protect actors from abuse and how they can immediately "shut down productions" after a sexual harassment claim or weapons claim is lodged. Now the goalpost has changed. I'm having a hard time understanding what is the truth about this union and what real protection do they have for their actors. What is the point of the anonymous line they have for talent? I'm confused. If you anonymously report a claim of abuse on a SAG AFTRA set, what plan of action do they take if they don't know who it is? Refer them to the production whose abuser is on set? They will not know whose being abused. None of this makes sense.

I am basing it on what they say on their website. https://www.sagaftra.org/contracts-industry-resources/reporting-unlawful-discrimination-and-harassment and https://www.sagaftra.org/contracts-industry-resources/how-report-discrimination-or-harassment

So what?

I don't think she looks like she has had much plastic surgery - she looks older now.

I am not saying she hasn't had things done but she still looks very much like her younger self.

What an intelligent parse - that’s what I’m here for, the honesty, the legitimacy. He truly said in so many words, “Blake, please rewrite scenes, re-costume the character and up the wardrobe spend by a couple hundred thousand, please lobby everyone in writing for a PGA credit after being sick 6 times in a row - I loved your work taking 6 months off of The Rhythm Section for a knuckle injury- and then please ask Colleen Hoover to treat me like something underfoot. After all, I am trying to grow my studio by partnering with Sony!”

Blake and Colleen set fire to the authors relationship with Baldoni. Stupid title, but referencing and citing dates, texts, videos.

If you look at pictures of her as a teen, the lips were nonexistent, gums were more prominent, nose much larger and bulbous, eyes smaller, hair much thinner. If anything aging would accentuate these features, people’s noses don’t thin out as they age, their eyes don’t become larger and more open, lips don’t become fuller with age, boobs don’t become more perky. It almost looks like two separate people.

I disagree. She has had a nose job for sure but when I look at before and after, she still has the look of the same person. She doesn't look like a generic Hollywood plastic surgery victim!

I think they might be right. He’s very different from RR, a lot more LA. I think she liked that and that was part of why she sent out those flirtatious texts.

Maybe her husband is a closeted gay man like most Hollywood actors, so they don’t have a sex life and that makes him fly off the handle when he suspects she’s prowling for a bedfellow. I honestly detect zero passion or sexual aura from Ryan or between Blake and Ryan. He looks, acts and sounds like a catty passive-aggressive gay man.

No because she had quality work done, extensive work and procedures. Quality work looks very natural and inconspicuous. She paid $$$$ to look like she does now.

Your lips become fuller, as do your breasts for a long time postpartum. As i got older, my face got leaner, my cheeks smaller, which made my eyes seem bigger. You’re probably right on the nose job though - just like all of Hollywood it seems.

She’s had multiple nose jobs.

Her hair and teeth alone probably cost upwards of $30,000 but that’s nothing for her, but that’s just hair and teeth.

Lips, teeth, breasts done and the work is tacky. Several nose jobs. No, she wasn’t botched tragically like Tara Reid. She doesn’t look good to many of us, deal.

Is she really ethnically Jewish? Is Ryan? I know Ryan exclusively dated Jewish women before her. Do they attend church or synagogue? Their kids were baptized? She calls Swift her kids Godmother but is that in the literal sense via a Christian church or fake Hollywood honorary namedropping nonsense? Godparents aren’t a thing in Judaism.
