Bristol Palin and fiancé split

I know! If those two, with family values (and Jesus) on their side, can't make it work, what chance does a pair of leftist secular humanists like us have??

I feel bad for them both. Let's face it...having a baby at 18 is no walk in the park for a couple...even if you have tons of support like Bristol has. Personally, I think they probably always knew they wouldn't last but put on a brave, happy face for the media. More than anything, I just feel bad for the girl...

Shocker. How many teen parents actually stay together?

I guess Jesus didn't want them to stay together.

Come on - enough with the anti-Jesus crap.

I almost wet my pants on this one.

Shoot. Poor Bristol. I wish I could just offer her up a room in my lefty feminist single mom house.

Hmmm... wonder if the outcome would have been different if Sarah Palin had made it into the White House. Levi was looking for a free ride, didn't get it, and bailed.

No surprise there ...

Well thank God they broke up before starting an unhappy marriage and making their son miserable. First smart thing I've seen from any Palin.

it looked more like a shotgun wedding to me.

breakup was predictable. She's lucky to have extended family to help her raise her son.

Not resourceful enough to find a pack of condoms.

The guy doesn't seem that great so I don't know why we should feel sorry for her. She seems to be in a much better position re: family support (financially, I'm assuming, and emotionally) than most 18 year old unmarried mothers.
