NNAT this week?

Do first graders take NNAT this week? I haven't received any notifications if they were.

If it is this week my problem with this week is the time change. I wonder if kids can perform their best!

Yes--our school's is on the 11th. My friend's school has four 1st grade classes and they're scheduled on Tues, Wed, Thur, Fri.

Great! one of the 2 things for a good performance is sleep ( the other being food) and all kids are going to be at a disadvantage. FCPS should know better!!

Yes, ours are scheduled every day this week in FCPS. The FCPS window has been extended into next week because of the snow days, though, so your school might be doing it next week. You should have gotten a letter.

Oh no! We can't test them during the week after daylight savings time because they may be tired.
You also can't test them in the morning because they may still be sleeply.
Not in the afternoon because they worked so hard all day.
Not the week after we've had snow.
Not before a long weekend.
Not after a long weekend.
Not after their friend made a face at them.
Not when they may have stubbed their toe (note to self: see if still toed shoes come in kids sizes)

We got a note from the school that it was this week but I forgot about it until this morning when my son said that he has a test on the computer today and he was told that he needs to do his best but the grade won't count against him. Oh - and I asked if he will use a mouse during the test and he said they did yesterday on the practice they did.
