That's so funny. I was thinking the opposite! A nice summer plate of tomato/mozz and burgers - beef, turkey/feta, veggie - with fixings. Plus some good roasted potatoes and a cucumber salad. Maybe even a Greek pasta salad for a crowd. And lemon squares or coconut cake for dessert. Would obviously be a summer meal but I could go for that!!! |
| Does anyone have a good baked ziti recipe they can share? Or even just the basics. I tried to make it once and it came out a bit dry and bland. |
I'm embarrassed to say I served this to my fellow Jersey Italians one day when I didn't have time to make sauce from scratch and they all raved and asked for the recipe: http://allrecipes.com/recipe/baked-ziti-i/ I claimed "Nonna's secret" |
|
Cold winter night: morrocan slow cooked lamb stew or DH's baked ziti (really is nonna's recipe)
Summer: grilled fish tacos or mixed fajitas |
Sour cream and provolone cheese? Who knew?! Thanks. Will try it. |
